Organizations of all types and sizes use their organizational logo as a key element in their brand identity and branding campaigns. Strong logos, and the regular and consistent use of these logos in marketing and corporate communications, can help organizations establish an iconic image that the public immediately identifies with the overall organization. Brand attributes become affixed to this logo over time, and each subsequent use of the logo creates a short-hand reminder for consumers of these attributes.
When an organization embarks on a custom award project, they may want to consider basing their award design on their existing logo. Custom awards are an excellent way to bring these logos to “3D life”, creating a physical instantiation of a flat graphic image that can help reinforce and extend their brand identity.
We have worked with a variety of corporate, non-profit, humanitarian, sports and entertainment clients to create custom recognition awards based on their logo. One example of a consumer brand logo we used for awards is the Bentley Motors logo, which was the basis of custom awards we created for an internal driving program. These awards utilize the “B” image prominent in the Bentley logo.
Another example is the custom recognition awards we created for the International Skateboarding Hall of Fame & Museum. These awards were a fairly literal 3D interpretation of this organization’s skateboard logo and logotype.
A final example is the custom perpetual award we created for Arthur | Marshall. Their corporate logo features an image with depth, which ideally lends itself to a 3D physical creation of the logo in an award.
If you are looking for ways to bring your logo to life, consider using it as the basis for your future recognition awards.
