Folsom Football State Championship Trophy

0.01

Folsom High School, located in Folsom, California, recently chose Bennett Awards to create a custom recognition award for the 2010 California state championship football team. This custom achievement trophy honors the Folsom players and coaches who capped a remarkable 14 win season by winning the California CIF Division II State Football Championship. In the championship game, held December 20, 2010 at the Home Depot Center on the California State University of Dominquez campus, Folsom soundly defeated Serra of Gardena by a score of 48-20. To recognize this outstanding achievement, Folsom, with support from a donor, commissioned Bennett Awards to create a unique custom trophy design that captured the spirit and magic of their remarkable accomplishment.

This unique custom awards design features three components. At the top of the recognition trophy is a clear crystal obelisk. Inside this obelisk there are embedded 3D opaque images of a football, the Bulldog mascot, and words “DIVISION II STATE CHAMPIONS”. This crystal obelisk is mounted on a square black marble base. This base features customized engravings of the team’s end-of-season #5 national ranking. This marble base, in turn, is mounted on a multi-tier wood base. The word base features black and gold plates with personalized engravings of the team roster and schedule and scores. This unique, custom trophy stands approximately 24” tall, and will be displayed at Folsom High School.
