ABC’s popular television show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” was presented with a Bennett recognition award at the 2010 NATPE (National Association of Television Program Executives) LATV Festival. The unique Bennett recognition award "Eternal Spirit" was presented to the hit TV series as NATPE’s 3rd annual Reality Innovator Award. The Reality Innovator Award celebrates outstanding achievement in non-scripted TV programming. Recipients of these unique awards showcase extraordinary passion and leadership, leveraging their platform in new and innovative ways.

This unique awards design was accepted by a combined team from Endemol USA and ABC Entertainment. The recognition award was presented by Rick Feldman, NATPE President and CEO. The recognition awards presentation was held July 13, 2010, in Los Angeles at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel.
