Bennett Awards provided a distinctive recognition award that was presented at the 2010 NAACP Image Awards. The unique award "Legends 2000" was presented to Lee Elder in honor of the 35th anniversary of his historic entry into the Masters Golf Tournament.

This Bennett recognition award was presented to Elder at an awards reception and presentation held on February 25, 2010, at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The unique award was given to Elder as part of the 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards Celebrity Golf Challenge.

Lee Elder is an inspirational, trail-blazing American Golfer who became the first African-American to play in the prestigious Masters Golf Tournament (1975). He is well known for his accomplishments on the golf course, as well as his many contributions to charitable causes and his sustained efforts fighting racism.
