Bennett Awards Creates Custom Trophies for Interactive NBC Olympics Twitch Programming
About the Project
The Bennett Awards team was elated to collaborate with Twitch, the renowned video live streaming service, on crafting trophies for an event closely tied to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
Twitch joined forces with NBC to bring the Olympics to Twitch, featuring some of the most prominent Twitch Creators in a multi-week spectacle. In this unique partnership, Twitch and NBC Olympics co-created an array of interactive tools to enhance the Olympic experience both in the lead-up to and during the Games.
One of the standout programs in this endeavor is the enthralling daily competition show known as the "Try-Athalon."
In the true Olympic spirit, three teams comprising Twitch creators will engage in daily competitions encompassing family-friendly games, including Minecraft, Sports, and Mario/Sonic challenges. Over the span of the 17-day Games, these teams will strive to accumulate "medals" across a multitude of events, echoing the grandeur and competitive fervor of the Olympic Games.
