The ”Portal to Success” glass sculpture awards are one of our most unique recognition awards – art-glass or other! These achievement awards combine distinctive colors, diverse materials (including recycled glass), and a unique form-factor to create a truly remarkable award design. Unlike most of our other art-glass awards that are based on a bowl- or vase-shaped design, these awards are rectangular in shape. A large piece of hand-blown art-glass with a kaleidoscope of swirling colors is nestled between two vertical metal support beams. These beams are then attached to a flat metal base with a curved accent that compliments the design of the glass. The unique colors in the art-glass swirl towards an open space (portal) towards the center of the glass, connoting a flow or migration to whatever is on the other side of the portal. The winding, swirling colors – including deep reds, vibrant golds, and rich grays – suggest that the path to success is not always a “straight line”, but, with persistence, patience and hard work, the path eventually leads there. One interesting note is that the glass used in the “Portal to Success” recognition awards is recycled – used pieces of art-glass are reheated in a kiln and melted flat. An engraved plaque with customized engravings can be attached to the base of these awards for a small additional charge. Also, upon request, these achievement awards can be customized with colors of your choice (your logo colors, for example). These unique awards measure 26” high x 12” wide x 6” deep.
