The National Lacrosse League (NLL), North America’s premier professional indoor lacrosse league, commissioned Bennett Awards to create a unique custom award for its new championship trophy. The custom award, called the National Lacrosse League Cup, is a perpetual award that will honor each year’s champions. The award design is based on the NLL’s new logo, which features a four-point star. The star acknowledges the four original teams from the Mid-Atlantic region, while paying homage to the roots of the sport with its similarity to the Native American Morning Star.

 This unique custom sculpture award was produced in nickel-plated bronze. The upper part of the award is based on a four-point star. The mid-section of the award serves as an integrated base and features a sculpted NLL logo. These two elements form the main sculpture portion of the award, which is then mounted on a hexagon-shaped hardwood base which holds plates of each year’s champion. The award stands approximately 28” high.
