Intesa
Stanley Construction Tools
The Story
When Intesa Sanpaolo sold an NPL leasing portfolio with a total GBV of approximately €1.1 billion, the commemorative piece was designed to reflect both the scale and the industrious nature of the transaction.
Built on a solid concrete-style base, the tombstone features authentic Stanley construction tools—a level, a tape measure, and a hammer—mounted directly into the design. These objects weren’t chosen at random; they symbolize measurement, balance, and building, core themes for a deal that reshaped financial portfolios and required precision at every stage.
The engraved plaque grounds the symbolism with the transaction details, while the tools make the piece instantly recognizable and deeply memorable. More than a memento, this design highlights how finance and craftsmanship share the same principles: accuracy, structure, and strength.
