Bennett Awards created set of custom award trophies for the 2014 Jordan Brand Classic, one of the nation’s premier prep basketball events. This was the 13th year the Jordan Brand Classic has been staged.
This year’s event, held April 14, 2014 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, included three basketball games: 1) the International Game; 2) the New York Regional Game; and 3) the All-American Game.
The All-American Game featured 28 of the top prospects in the United States, and all of the Top-10 prospects on the ESPN 100 list. In the All-American Game, the East beat the West 158-147. The East’s Jahill Okafor and the West’s Cliff Alexander were named co-MVP’s.
In addition to the action on the basketball court, this event featured a special performance by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Among the star-studded list of attendees were Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.
The event was sponsored by Jordan Brand, a division of Nike. The event organizers worked with Bennett Awards to create new custom awards for the event. These unique awards were created in the form of 4” metal cubes with embossed images of the Jordan Brand logo and event logotype. Cube surfaces featured a combination of white and gold paint, matching the brand colors of this year’s event.
