Bennett Awards created a set of unique interactive custom awards for the Levchin Prize. The Levchin Prize honors significant contributions to real-world cryptology. The award design was a “puzzle” that challenged recipients and others to solve it. These aluminum awards were fabricated in the shape of a cylinder, with rotating circular disks that, properly rotated and positioned, spelled out “LEVCHIN PRIZE”. Once the disks were in the correct position, the award also revealed a secret inner chamber in the spindle of the cylinder.

Bennett Awards created new custom recognition awards for the 2016 SURFER Awards. The SURFER Awards, now in their 46th year, honor achievements in both surfing and surfing-related filmmaking. They recognize fan-favorite men and women, top performances, and best videos. For these awards, Bennett Awards created unique, custom bronze sculptures in the shape of a surfboard. They featured a combination blue patina and high-polish finish.

Bennett Awards created a new custom perpetual award for the AKC (American Kennel Club) National Championship, presented by Royal Canin. The 2016 AKC National Championship is the largest dog show North America. For this competition, Bennett Awards created a new custom perpetual award for the Best in Show winner. The award was in the form a custom sculpted bronze cup standing approximately 32” tall. The cup was mounted on a two-tier handcrafted wood base that holds medallions identifying each year’s Best in Show winner.

Bennett Awards, working in conjunction with Skiver Advertising, created a new custom sculpture award for the inaugural Defender of the Nation Award. This new recognition award honors a college football player from one of the nation’s service academies. For this award, Bennett Awards created a new, unique custom sculpture award in the form of a battle shield. The shield and its stand were crafted from a combination of bronze-plated pewter, oak and mahogany. 

For the 10th consecutive year, the Bay Area Council presented unique Bennett recognition awards to their annual inductees into the Bay Area Business Hall of Fame. The 2016 recipients of these awards were John Chambers, Executive Chair of Cisco, and Jane Shaw, former Chair of Intel. Both Chambers and Shaw were recognized for their outstanding philanthropic and business achievements.

Music legend Johnny Cash, the “Man in Black”, was recently honored with a unique recognition award created by Bennett Awards. Cash received the honor from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Case Western Reserve University as part of the 21st annual Music Masters series. Each year, the Music Master series honors an artist whose career changed the shape and sound of rock and roll music.

The Sacramento Kings commissioned Bennett Awards to create a new custom sculpture for their new downtown arena and entertainment complex, the Golden 1 Center. The sculpture is in the form of a replica bronze sign and plaque honoring four local Sacramento kids who worked to help keep the Kings in Sacramento.

Bennett Awards worked with General Mills to create new custom awards in the form of the iconic Pillsbury Doughboy. These unique awards, called the Golden Doughboy Awards, were centered around a 3D sculpture of the Pillsbury Doughboy figure. The sculpture was cast in lead-free pewter, and then plated in a golden bronze.

Garth Brooks and Pitbull recently received custom Bennett Awards as recipients of the prestigious SoundExchange Digital Radio Award, which is awarded to artists amassing over one billion digital performances on the more than 2,500 digital radio services that partner with SoundExchange. For these custom awards, Bennett Awards created pewter sculpture awards in the shape of a headset. These unique sculptures featured a brushed pewter finish, and were mounted on orange anodized aluminum bases with engravings of the SoundExchange logo, award name, and recipient name.

Custom crystal awards created by Bennett Awards were presented to a variety of reality TV stars, including Khloé Kardashian and Mariah Carey, as part of the 2016 edition of the The Bravos. The Bravos are recognition awards given out each year by Bravo that honor the best reality moments and stars of the year. Awards winners are selected by viewer votes.
