The Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame presented its 2019 inductee class with custom awards created by Bennett Awards. The centerpiece of the award was an oval sculpture in the shape of an “O”. The sculpture, which stood approximately 8.5” tall, was fabricated in aluminum with a golden bead-blasted finish. Inductees received these awards at the induction ceremony held October 23, 2019 at the historic Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.

WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, presented a set of Bennett recognition awards to the recipients of their 19th annual Wenger Awards. The Wenger Awards are presented each year to honor individuals and organizations for their extraordinary contributions to women’s heart health. For the ninth straighty year, WomenHeart used the Bennett sculpture awards “Hearts of Fire” for these awards. These sculpture awards were cast in pewter with a brushed satin finish.

Bennett Awards created new, unique custom trophies for the 2019 Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament, the biggest 3-on-3 street basketball tournament in California. The custom trophies created for the tournament were based on a pewter sculpture of a basketball sitting on a stylistic net. Custom medallions based on the tournament logo were also created and affixed to the basketball sculptures.

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) commissioned a new, unique set of custom awards to recognize some of the film industry’s outstanding contributors. Meryl Streep and Joaquin Phoenix were among the recipients of these awards. The awards were a geometric design that was fabricated from aluminum, and then bead-blasted gold.

Bennett Awards created a set of new, uique custom awards for the Shell Eco-marathon Challenge. The Shell Eco-marathon is one of the world’s leading energy-efficiency competition programs for students. Teams of high school and university students design and build ultra-energy-efficient vehicles, and then take them out on the track for competition. For these awards, Bennett Awards created stylistic car sculptures made out of stainless steel.

Bennett Awards created custom awards for the Nuclear Energy Institute’s2019 Top Innovative Practice (TIP) Awards. The TIP Awards showcase new and creative ideas developed by nuclear energy industry’s talented workforce. Bennett Awards created two custom award designs: one design for the TIP Award winners (a standing plaque), and one design for the top TIP Award: the Best of the Best Award (a silver-plated bronze sculpture award).  

The United States Rugby Foundation commissioned custom awards from Bennett Awards for its inaugural Prusmack Awards. The Prusmack Awards honor the top male and female rugby sevens players in the United States. Bennett Awards created two custom bronze sculpture awards – one male and one female – to recognize the winners of these awards each year. The figurative sculptures showcase rugby players in action.

Bennett Awards created a new custom award design for Comic-Con, a multi-genre entertainment and comic book convention held annually in San Diego. These custom awards will be used to honor inductees into the Comic-Con Museum Hall of Fame. The first award produced was used to recognize Batman’s induction in the Hall of Fame – the first fictional character that has been inducted.

Baylor University worked with Bennett Awards to create a new set of custom awards for Baylor’s Golden Bruiser Awards. The Golden Bruiser Awards recognize the top student-athletes at Baylor University each year. For these recognition awards, Bennett Awards worked with Baylor to create a new, unique sculpture award design in the form of Baylor’s mascot: “Bruiser” the bear.

Bennett Awards created a set of unique custom awards for the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE. The goal of the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE is to accelerate the development of unmanned and autonomous systems and sensors for deep-sea exploration. Three different award designs were developed for three different versions of the XPRIZE: two custom award designs and a modified design based on an existing sculpture award.
