Premier Lacrosse League

All-Star Game MVP Award

The Story

The Premier Lacrosse League approached Bennett Awards in mid-June 2025 to create a custom MVP trophy for the upcoming All-Star Game. With a tight turnaround for the July 5–6 event, the PLL requested a design that mirrored the previous year’s award but with a fresh update. After reviewing options, the decision was made to change the base color from clear to a sleek black, enhancing the trophy's visual impact.

The Design

The final design featured an 18-inch tall machined acrylic trophy, standing on a custom black base. The trophy included a branded disk and a deep-engraved logo, with personalization to distinguish the MVP recipient. The minimalist aesthetic captured the speed, power, and precision of lacrosse, aligning with the high-energy atmosphere of the All-Star Game.

The Craftsmanship

Bennett Awards utilized precision machining techniques to create the acrylic trophy, ensuring clean lines and a polished finish. The black base provided a strong contrast, allowing the engraved details to stand out. Each element was carefully crafted to reflect the elite nature of the event and the skill of the MVP.

The Impact

The MVP award was presented during the All-Star Game, which was broadcast live on ESPN to over 100,000 viewers. The trophy was prominently displayed in the stadium, where thousands of fans witnessed its unveiling. The sleek design and craftsmanship of the award contributed to the event's celebration of talent and fandom.
