Bennett Awards worked collaboratively with the ITHOF to create a new custom award design for its use in a variety of events and tournaments. The award design was inspired by the ITHOF’s logo, and featured a sculpture in the shape of a tennis racquet with global references, similar to the one appearing in the ITHOF logo. The custom sculpture awards based on this design are cast in pewter and feature a brushed pewter finish.
Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Ken Burns received a Bennett recognition award as the 2017 recipient of the Lady Bird Johnson Environmental Award. The Lady Bird Johnson Environmental Award honors outstanding achievements in the preservation, restoration or improvement of the natural world that embrace Mrs. Johnson's style, energy and commitment to her work. For this award, Burns was presented with the Bennett recognition award In Our Hands, designed by sculptor Terrie Bennett, who herself has a strong commitment to environmental causes, the influence of which can be seen in much of her work.
For the sixth consecutive year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation presented custom sculpture awards created by Bennett Awards to the 2016 recipients of the 6th Annual ‘Hiring Our Heroes’ awards. The Hiring Our Heroes Awards recognize employers and individuals who have gone above and beyond to hire, retain, and honor our country’s military talent. In 2011, U.S. Chamber of Commerce commissioned Bennett Awards to create a new, unique custom award design for these recognition awards. This design is a figurative bronze sculpture in the form of a combat serviceman on patrol.
