Custom Milestone Awards

Milestone awards are awards that recognize successive levels of achievement, or the attainment of each goal is a series of progressive goals. These levels or goals might be years of service (e.g., anniversary awards), sales goals, project milestones, etc.

 The defining feature of milestone awards is that they are designed so that components can be added to the award each time a milestone or goal is achieved. For example, a component could be added to the award for each successive 5 year increment of service. These components are typically differentiated so that they clearly delineate the goal that was reached. This can be done in a variety of ways, including color, finish, shape and text.

Milestone awards are a great way of recognizing - and visibly highlighting - the attainment of goal strata within a single award footprint. It is one of the more effective incentive-based award strategies.

 There are a couple of key considerations in designing custom milestone awards, including their ability to conform to their design aesthetic no matter how many components have been added, and the ability to clearly differentiate the individual components while still maintaining cohesiveness in the overall award design.

Award Personalization

Most of the custom awards we create support some level of personalization, such as the recipient’s name, award name, presenting organization or date of presentation. Depending on the award design, this may be a combination of text and images (such as logos). Many of the custom awards we create can be mounted on bases with personalized engraving (see buttons below). Custom awards that do not include a base as part of their design may be able to incorporate personalization as part of the award itself.
