John Oliver, RBG & Ellen’s Game of Games Among Bennett Award Recipients

For the 5th straight year, NATPE (National Association of Television Program Executives) presented the winners of its Annual Unscripted Breakthrough Awards with sculpture awards created by Bennett Awards. These recognition awards honor reality programs that broke away from the pack the preceding year, becoming part of our cultural conversation and generally altering the expectations of what constitutes a reality program. For these awards, NATPE used the unique Bennett Awards sculpture design “Distinction”.

Bennett Custom Awards Featured at 2018 AKC National Championship

The American Kennel Club (AKC) featured a custom perpetual award created by Bennett Awards at the 2018 AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin. The AKC National Championship is America’s largest dog show. To honor each year’s Best in Show winner, Bennett Awards created a custom perpetual bronze sculpture cup that holds plaques designating each year’s Best in Show champion.

Bennett Awards created a new, unique custom award for the Eisner Foundation’s 2018 Eisner Prize. The Eisner Prize is an annual award that recognizes excellence by an individual or a nonprofit organization in uniting multiple generations, especially seniors and youth, to bring about positive and lasting changes in their community. For this award, Bennett Awards created a unique custom glass sculpture award in the shape of two abstract hands.

The 2018 recipients of these awards included Joseph S. Lacob, Owner & CEO of the Golden State Warriors; Peter Gruber,  Owner of the Golden State Warriors; Peter A. Magowan, President & Managing General Partner Emeritus of the San Francisco Giants; and the Magnin Family. These award recipients were recognized for their business achievements, which have made an enduring impact on countless lives and communities across the Bay Area, as well as their long-standing philanthropic leadership.

Bennett Creates Custom MVP Awards for Rugby World Cup Sevens

Bennett Awards created new, unique custom awards for the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens. The tournament is the largest stand-alone rugby sevens competition in the world outside of the Olympic Games. Bennett Awards created new custom trophies for both the men’s and women’s most valuable players. The trophy design featured a unique abstract geometric sculpture inspired by the event logo.

Bennett Awards Creates Custom Award for Siegfried Fischbacher (of Siegfried & Roy)

Bennett Awards created a unique custom award that was presented to Siegfried Fischbacher of the entertainment duo known as Siegfried & Roy. He received the custom award as the recipient of the Keep Memory Alive Caregiver Award. This award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond to care for those who are unable to care for themselves. Fischbacher received the award in recognition for his commitment of caring for his longtime partner and Friend, Roy Horn, the other half of the Siegfried & Roy duo.

Custom Bennett Awards Created for Greenwich Concours d’Elegance

Greenwich Concours d’Elegance, one of the one of the premier concours in the country and the largest in the Northeast., commissioned a set of unique Bennett custom awards for their 2018 event. The awards are a unique custom sculpture design based on a stylish, unique silhouette of a stylized classic car. Two sizes of this sculpture award were created: a smaller 8” sculpture recognizing winning entries across a broad variety of categories, and a larger 10” sculpture for winners of the largest, most prestigious competitions. The car sculptures were cast in pewter, and featured a brushed pewter finish.

Robert Siegel, the recently retired senior host of NPR’s All Things Considered, received a Bennett custom award as the 2018 recipient of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications Lifetime Achievement Award. The Edward R. Murrow Award honors recipients who have a demonstrated commitment to excellence that exemplifies the career of Edward R. Murrow. The men and women who are named as Murrow Award winners are those who will be remembered as the pillars of the communication industry.

Al Gore Honored with Bennett Recognition Award

Former Vice President Al Gore was honored with a unique recognition award from Bennett Awards as the 2018 recipient of the Lady Bird Johnson Environmental Award. This award honors outstanding achievements in the preservation, restoration, or improvement of the natural world. Gore received the unique Bennett Awards sculpture award “In Our Hands”, designed by sculptor Terrie Bennett. The bronze award features two hands uplifting a globe.
