The University of Denver commissioned Bennett Awards to create their Distinguished Alumni Awards. Bennett Awards worked collaboratively with the University of Denver to create a new custom award design for these recognition awards.

The form factor for these awards is a custom, stylized freestanding pillar. The pillar incorporates two materials: aluminum and wood. The lower portion of the pillar is made from brushed aluminum, and has the engraving information (award and recipient information) metal marked directly on the aluminum surface. The upper portion of the pillar is made from handcrafted hardwood, with the top cut in the shape of the Rocky Mountains.
