These custom recognition awards were created for Orbis International, an international non-profit non-governmental organization dedicated to saving sight worldwide. Its programs focus on the prevention of blindness and the treatment of blinding eye diseases in developing countries through hands-on training, public health education, advocacy and local partnerships.

The design for these unique custom awards was inspired by the Orbis logo. These awards were created from a combination of aluminum and acrylic. The upper sculpture or the award is a blue acrylic circle seated inside an aluminum ring. This component is approximately 8” in diameter. The upper sculpture is attached to a circular aluminum base 2” high and 6” in diameter. A chrome plate with personalized text of the recipient is attached to each base,
