This 15” tall custom award cup was commissioned by Marvin Test Solutions, a vertically integrated aerospace test and measurement company. This custom cup is a perpetual award that recognizes the winner of the William Tell Air-to-Air Weapons Meet. This competition evaluates F-35, F-22 and F-15 Fighter Integration Teams from across the Department of the Air Force, employing Total Force combat-capable active-duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen in near-peer-like competition. This custom cup was created from machined aluminum, and then nickel plated. The cup sculpture was mounted on a two-tier base with personalized engraved plates.
