Bennett Awards created a set of unique custom wood awards for the Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000. The Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 is a multi-day vintage car rally held in Arizona. Over 80 vintage sports and race cars participate each year in the Copperstate 1000. The rally is sponsored by the Men’s Arts Council of Phoenix Art Museum, a non-profit organization that supports the programs and activities of the Museum. The rally was held March 31 through April 3.
For this award, Bennett Awards worked with the Men’s Council to create a unique custom award design utilizing both wood and pewter. The primary component of the award is a handcrafted wood sculpture cut into the shape of Arizona. The wood sculpture is teak wood, and is approximately 11” high x 1.5” thick. The wood is laser engraved with map details and the name of the award. A custom copper-plated pewter medallion with an image of the event logo is mounted on the wood sculpture.
This is the second consecutive year Bennett Awards has produced these awards for this event.
