This competition awards over $1 million to “inclusive innovators”: organizations around the world that are using technology to solve a huge challenge of our time: create greater shared prosperity by reinventing the future of work. Bell Labs presented a custom award it commissioned from Bennett Awards to Stephen Fry, the iconic comedian, actor, author, tech enthusiast and polymath. Fry received Bell Lab’s Shannon Luminary Award for his participation in the Shannon Luminary Lecture Series and Award, which explores and recognizes all topics of high impact and relevance to the future of human existence. For this award, Bennett Awards created a hand-sculpted figure representing Claude Shannon, surrounded by objects meaningful to his life.
